IFLA is pleased to announce that the IFLA WLIC 2013 National Committee has selected Ambassador Chan Heng Chee as Keynote Speaker at its Opening Session and Parag Khanna and Cherian George as Plenary Speakers.

The Academic and Research Libraries Section (ARL), with generous sponsorship by ExLibris and SAGE Publications, is offering THREE (3) Attendance Grants for the IFLA Congress in Singapore 2013 to an information professional from each of these regions:

- Latin America
- Asia/Pacific region

Conference Attendance Grant by the Stichting IFLA Foundation
It is our great pleasure to announce that the Stichting IFLA Foundation has made available funds to support 10 colleagues to attend our IFLA World Library and Information Congress in Singapore.
Successful candidates receive support in the form of Congress registration and a subsidy towards travel, accommodation and additional expenses for a maximum total of EUR 3.000.

Brill and IFLA are pleased to announce the new Brill/IFLA Open Access award.
The IFLA/Brill Open Access award is created to reward initiatives that facilitate and/or promote Open Access Scholarly Monographs in the humanities or social sciences.
