Research resources for Parliamentarians

The IFLA Library and Research Services for Parliaments Section invites proposals for presentations at the Section's programme in Singapore 17-23 August 2013. The main theme of the Singapore conference is Future Libraries: Infinite Possibilities.

This session will focus on the role of research resources in supporting Parliamentarians to be well-informed. We are looking for up to 5 presentations for this 2 hour session.

  • Explore organisational questions, including the relationship between research and library professionals within Parliaments
  • Consider links between internal Parliamentary research resources and other research organisations within the country
  • Assess the effectiveness of global and regional networks operating to support Parliamentary research resources and knowledge sharing
