Conference Objective

The objective of this conference is to explore the 3-dimensional impact of eBooks:

  1. on content providers: how to produce content in an accessible eBook format?
  2. on libraries: how to provide inclusive services?
  3. on readers: how to take advantage of eBooks to facilitate reading?

Presentations

Papers may be submitted and presented in English or in French.

Simultaneous translation will be provided during the conference.

Several types of paper will be considered:

  • Full Paper (25 min)
  • Short Paper (15 min)
  • Demonstration or product presentation (by exhibitors)

Proposal

Submissions should include:

  • title of the paper or presentation
  • abstract fitting in with the topic of the conference (max. 300 words)
  • author(s)' name(s) and speaker's name, professional affiliation
  • postal address, email address, brief biographical note and photo
  • type of paper suggested (Full, Short, Demo, Product)

Important Dates

All proposals must be in by 1 February 2014.

Proposals will be evaluated by the conference steering group and successful applicants will be informed by 1 April 2014.

Please note

All expenses, including registration for the conference, travel, accommodation etc., are the responsibility of the authors/presenters. No financial support can be provided by IFLA, but a special invitation can be issued to authors.
