The IFLA Section on Library Services to Multicultural Populations provides an active forum for libraries and associations concerned with the development and availability of library services designed to reflect the needs of a cultural, ethnic, and linguistic diverse society.

The Section’s primary focus is to promote the belief that every individual in our global society have access to a full range of library and information services. To achieve this, the Section works with public libraries, non-library associations, library consortia and government agencies in all countries that provide or are considering services to multicultural populations by promoting and disseminating best practices, emerging trends and issues, and interesting programs.
