Guidelines for Parliamentary Libraries, 3rd editionThe Guidelines for Parliamentary Libraries, 3rd Edition, is a joint publication between the IFLA Library and Research Services for Parliaments Section (PARL) and the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU). It will be officially launched on 28 July at Session 144 “International Standards for a Digital World” at the 87th IFLA World Library and Information Congress, in Dublin, Ireland.

A working group comprised by members of the Section on Library and Research Services for Parliaments, led by Sonia Bebbington from the Library of Parliament, Canada, and Edward Wood from the House of Commons Library, United Kingdom, compiled the guidelines based on their experience and in consultation with other members of the Section.
