Call for Papers

Libraries for Children and Young Adults Section

Theme:
Dynamic partnerships for access, development and transformation in libraries for young people

The IFLA Libraries for Children and Young Adults Section invite proposals for papers to be presented at their Open session on Dynamic partnerships for access, development and transformation in libraries for young people during the IFLA World Library and Information Congress in Cape Town, South Africa 15-21, August 2015.

Partners seem more important for libraries than ever, and they cooperate with librarians in different areas and ways: expertise in various fields, cooperation for activities...  Whether partners are public or private, local, national or international, organizations or individuals, whether they provide funding or they are financed by the library, they are vital in the library’s life.

The session aims to highlight innovative, inspiring partnerships in children and young adults’ libraries, in different areas of library work, in different countries and contexts.
