Libraries and Web 2.0 Discussion Group
(2008-2009)

Sponsoring Section:
21. Information Technology Section

Scope

We want to maintain a forum for the implications of Web 2.0 for libraries, where the question of Library 2.0 and the ongoing development is watched and discussed in the next few years. It would be nice if there will be a lot of input from as many sections as possible.

Invitation

To create the group formally 25 people from IFLA member organizations will have to support the group. If you like to do so, please put your name and organization on the supporter list of the Special Interest Group Library 2.0 wiki. There is no extra cost for membership for your organization and you do not have to be a member of the Informaton Technology Section sponsoring this discussion group.

What do you think? Which themes could be discussed?
If you have any suggestions or questions, or if you would like to support this discussion group, go to the wiki or write me an email.
