Multicultural to Intercultural: Libraries Connecting Communities
Set in beautiful Vancouver, Canada, one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world, this conference will explore models of practice of libraries in different multicultural environments including the needs of First Nations/Indigenous peoples. In addition, there will be an examination of the changing demographics of our communities and institutions and the many challenges and opportunities that arise with cultural diversity.
The conference will take advantage of the unique opportunities that exist within the dynamic city of Vancouver and explore first hand the many exceptional libraries in the region.
