IFLA Information Futures SummitThe Hague, Netherlands – 18 April 2024 – The IFLA International Futures Summit will be a meeting place, not just for librarians from around the world, but also for ideas and perspectives on the information and knowledge environment of tomorrow. The Summit takes place 30 September – 3 October in Brisbane, Australia.

In a new type of event for IFLA, we are combining insights from inside and outside of the library field, helping to understand the trends we will face, and the skills, resources and attitudes we will need to respond.

We’re therefore thrilled to publish the high-level programme, setting out the key themes we’ll be exploring and questions we’ll be looking to answer.

With recognised experts on artificial intelligence, heritage law, digital inclusion, social justice, open science, and information integrity, as well as key global library leaders, participants will come away with new and broader perspectives.

The Summit Programme is designed to maximise opportunities for creating connections and catalysing ideas, building on these inputs and in particular, the 2024 IFLA Trend Report which will be launched on the first day.

Take a look at the new programme page on our Summit website for more, as well as finding out about our speakers, associated events and more.

See you in Brisbane!
