Mr. Peter Bae is the Director of Bowdoin College Library (Maine, USA), overseeing all aspects of library operations. Deeply rooted in the library resource sharing field, he served in various leadership roles such as the ALA RUSA STARS Executive Committee, ALA IRRT Executive Board and OCLC Global Council. Furthermore, he has contributed to the IFLA Document Delivery and Resource Sharing Section Standing Committee as Information Coordinator and Secretary. Notably, he spearheaded rscvd.org, an international resource sharing initiative. Prior to his current role, Peter worked as an ILL librarian at the University at Albany, Columbia University Libraries, and Princeton University Library, gaining expertise in collection access, fulfillment, and resource sharing. His passion lies in the international aspects of library resource sharing activities.
Mr. Ibrahim Farah is the Public Services Librarian at the University of Balamand Libraries in Lebanon, he served in the IFLA Document Delivery and Resource Sharing committee from 2012 to 2020 as a standing member and is currently a member of the IFLA Copyright and Other Legal Matters Advisory Board. Ibrahim’s interest in resource-sharing goes back to 2006 when he was first hired as a resource-sharing librarian and later access services head librarian at the American University of Beirut. He participated in the RSCVD community project and still working with colleagues on creating a large international resource-sharing community powered by volunteers. His focus areas include copyright, resource sharing, access services, and referencing.
