The first annual Multi-stakeholder Forum on Science, Technology and Innovation for the Sustainable Development Goals (STI Forum) will take place on 6-7 June 2016 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The 2016 STI Forum will address the topic "realizing the potential of science, technology and innovation for all to achieve the sustainable development goals."
Questions that will be discussed at the forum concern the opportunities and challenges (at policy, organisational and individual levels) for maximising the contribution of science, technology and innovation to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – questions which are highly relevant to IFLA's work with the SDG's and public access.
