The International Federation of Library Associations and Organization’s (IFLA) Libraries Serving Persons with Print Disabilities (LPD) section is hosting a meeting and seminar at the Library of Congress in Washington, DC. Attendees will participate in presentations on emerging topics and share best practices in serving this community, and the LPD section will conduct its annual business meetings.

The event will begin at the Library’s James Madison building (101 Independence Ave SE, Washington, DC 20540, U.S.A.) on the afternoon of August 20, followed by presentations and discussions through close of business on Thursday, August 22nd. Optional tours will take place on Friday, August 23rd, and attendees may be interested in the National books Festival taking place in Washington on Saturday, August 24.
