The next IFLA  World Library and Information Congress will take place in Columbus, Ohio 13-19 August 2016. 

Pre-Conference Satellite Meeting

GENLOC will offer a pre-conference satellite meeting 10-11 August 2016, in Fort Wayne, IN. The Allen County Public Library, which holds the largest public genealogy collection in the United States, is the host for the Pre-Conference. The main theme will be: "Awesome Resources - Genealogy and Local History Services Worldwide in the 21st Century". Study Tour

GENLOC will sponsor a study tour during the 2016 Conference. 

Call for Papers - deadline extended

During IFLA 2016 Conference, Columbus in Ohio, GENLOC will once again convene a joint session with Asia and Oceania. The theme of the session is: "The Social Web: its relevance for family, oral and local history". Please read the annoncement about the topic and consider submitting a paper: Call for Papers. Proposals must be submitted by March 18, 2016.
