International Congress on Medical Librarianship (ICML) 2021 to be in held Africa for the first time

The IFLA Health and Biosciences Libraries Section is delighted to announce that the 13th International Congress on Medical Librarianship (ICML) will be held in Pretoria, South Africa in 2021, the first time in its long history that it will be held in Africa. The local organising committee will be led by the Information Training and Outreach Centre in Africa (ITOCA), with representatives from South African universities and other African institutions.

ICML provides a unique opportunity for professional development and networking for librarians in the country and region in which it is held. It was timely to give this opportunity to many of our colleagues in Africa.

ICML 2021 will be officially launched in February 2018.
