Founded in 1986, the Arab Federation for Libraries and Information (AFLI) is the largest professional body representing the interests of library and information services in the Arab World. AFLI is an independent, non-governmental and not-for-profit organisation.
The 31st annual AFLI conference will bring together participants from numerous Arabic speaking countries.
The conference will discuss three main themes:
- Applying knowledge management in preserving the national heritage.
- Applying knowledge management in preserving institutional memory.
- Knowledge management standards and techniques role in preserving institutional memory.
IFLA President-elect Barbara Lison will deliver a keynote speech at the conference on 7 December 2020.
