The Creative Commons Global Summit brings together people from around the world interested in making it easier to create and share knowledge freely. IFLA will be there, talking in particular about how open access in intergovernmental organisations can help them better achieve impact, notably in the context of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Taking place from 13-15 April in Toronto, Canada, the Global Summit includes a wide range of sessions looking in depth at how to facilitate knowledge creation and sharing. These run from copyright laws to teaching individuals how to use licences or upload materials to Wikipedia.
