The 2017 edition of EuroDIG – the European Dialogue on Internet Governance – offers an opportunity both to shape the debate on Internet governance in Europe, and to feed into discussions for the global Internet Governance Forum (IGF) in December.
IFLA will be attending in order to underline both the continuing role of libraries in going beyond access, providing vital services to users in order to help them get the best out of the Internet. We will also be highlighting the importance of information and digital literacy in order to help fight fake news, and empower citizens in the information society.
