The IFLA General Assembly 2023 will be held on Wednesday 23 August 2023 (16:00 – 18:00 CEST) and Thursday 24 August 2023 (15:00 – 17:00 CEST) in hybrid format, in Rotterdam, The Netherlands and online.

The IFLA General Assembly is the highlight of the IFLA membership year, at which key decisions are taken about the life of our Federation.

At its meetings, IFLA’s leadership reports on the Federation’s activities in line with its Strategy, and Members have the opportunity to have their say.

Attending the General Assembly

The IFLA General Assembly 2023 will be live from the RTM Stage at the Rotterdam Ahoy Convention Centre (RACC) in Rotterdam, The Netherlands from 16:00 – 18:00 CEST on Wednesday 23 August and from 15:00 – 17:00 CEST on 24 August 2023. IFLA’s voting Members will receive an invitation to register for the meeting in person, virtually or to supply a proxy.

IFLA’s Affiliates and observers are warmly invited to follow the meeting and the live-stream via IFLA’s YouTube channel. A recording will be made available after the meeting. Observers are welcome at the physical meeting under the conditions of Article 10 of the IFLA Statutes.

Importantly, this year’s General Assembly will take place in hybrid form in order to give the best opportunity to take part in this key moment in the membership year. Members registering for the meeting will receive further details on the meeting platform and how to engage.
