During the World Library and Information Congress in Wrocław, on Monday August 21, 19:00-20:30, at Branch nr.29 of  Wrocław Public Library, there will be a special off-site session about the IFLA Metropolitan Libraries Short Film Award 2017.

The programme is:

a) Welcome and introduction by: 

  • a high representative of the Public Library of Wrocław;
  • Corrado Di Tillio, Chair of the IFLA Section on Metropolitan Libraries's Standing Committee;
  • Siobhan Reardon, Director of the Free Library of Philadelphia (sponsor for 2017);

b) projection of the 17 participating short films;

c) Q & A with Giovanna Scatena (Roma Capitale – Sistema Biblioteche Centri Culturali, Italy), winner of the Award.

This offsite session is open to all.
