Running the Race to Resilience Together: Communities Tapping Their Shared Cultures and Heritage for Climate Action
As part of the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow, UK, IFLA will join other Climate Heritage Network members in the event: Running the Race to Resilience Together: Communities Tapping Their Shared Cultures and Heritage for Climate Action.
IFLA will participate on a roundtable discussing the role of culture and cultural institutions in supporting inclusive, locally-led resilience action.
Libraries have an important role to play in engaging, informing, and empowering all people in their communities to take climate action, and we are excited to bring a library voice to this discussion.
When: 8 November – 11:30-13:00 BT
You can join this event virtually by subscribing to the COP26 YouTube channel.
