The World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) is organising an international conference on limitations and exceptions to copyright for libraries, archives, museums, research and educational institutions on 17-18 October 2019. It will follow up on the three seminars (in the Asia-Pacific region, in the African region, and in Latin America and the Caribbean) which will have explored the current landscape of exceptions and limitations to copyright for libraries in each region.
Decision-makers from all WIPO member states will be invited, as well as observer NGOs such as IFLA. It offers a unique opportunity to influence decision-makers and encourage progress towards meaningful international action at WIPO for libraries.
