The LGBTQ Users Special Interest Group will be present at the upcoming congress taking place in Dublin, Ireland between 26 – 29 July. 

The LGBTQ Users Special Interest Group will host three events and we kindly invite you to join us at the following:

Tuesday 26th July, 14:45 – 16:15: LGBTQ Users Special Interest Group will be hosting the event called  Business meeting which is open to participants on site (room Ecocem)  and online via Zoom (https://mcgill.zoom.us/j/89932667476).

Wednesday 27th July, 14:00-16:00: Social event where you will be able to mingle with your internationational colleagues. Location is TBA. Stay tuned!

Wednesday 27th July, 16:15 – 17:30: LGBTQ Users Special Interest Group will participate in the congress programme hosting the session on the theme Equity, Diversity, Inclusion: Intersectional Issues in Libraries. The session aims at dealing with intersectionality issues in libraries, in order to underline how class issues, gender issues, sex issues  interact with each other and why librarians should address such plurality to create a safe framework. Chair of the session is Joseph Hafner, Library Collection Services, McGill University, Canada.
