The role of this committee, to promote and support the work of libraries in achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, aligns well with CFLA-FCAB’s new Strategic Plan/Plan stratégique. This plan will focus on championing the Canadian library sector through national level policy and advocacy, and representing the Canadian Library sector at the International level.  Amongst the Federation’s strategic priorities are the development of a multi-year advocacy strategy, creating opportunities for engaging and amplifying the work of member associations, and planning for the 2025 National Forum, the Federation’s biennial summit.  The Board is excited to engage the Federation’s membership and other stakeholders on this crucial work and welcomes opportunities for collaboration and connection.
