French software company BibLibre new sponsor of IFLA Marketing Award.
The IFLA International Marketing Award, one of the flagship awards of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA), will get a new sponsor in 2016. BibLibre is a French company, based in Marseille. Their marketing campaign is very appealing: “A different company. Made in France”. BibLibre only works with Open Source software, firmly believing in contributing to a community and freer world. With a strong expertise in the library field and project management the company is a trusting provider chosen by more than 120 libraries in France of all sizes, ranging from the Resistance Museum in the Auvergne, which manages 5,000 records, to the University of Aix-Marseille, which manages 1,5 million records for its 70,000 members.
The IFLA BibLibre International Library Marketing Award, will be the official name for a first period of three years, 2016-2018.
