Our section held a very successful mid-year meeting in Montreal, Canada from 4-6 March 2020. 

In addition to a number of business meetings to progess the work of the section we also visited a range of public and academic libraries in the Montreal region.  See our Facebook Group for images and more of these  wonderful visits.  Our mid-year concluded with an excellent one-day seminar during which delegates learnt from local, regional and international colleagues about national, public and academic library design in new builds and in transformed historic buildings.  We will shortly share the slides from these presentations.  For now please see our Facebook Group and check out #iflabuild2020 on our Twitter feed @ifla_lbes.
