Results of election of Governing Board 2015-2017

I am pleased to announce that following the recent Governing Board elections the 2015-2017 Governing Board to be led by President Donna Scheeder will comprise:

The total number of valid ballot papers received for the vacancies on the Governing Board was 464, a return rate of 41%. This represents 1670 votes, 55% of the possible total.
Drs. J. Bos and Drs. T. de Boer, the scrutineers appointed by the Governing Board, are satisfied that the above result is correct, following an accurate count of the ballot papers.
Ex-officio members of the Board will be:

- Chair Division I: Raissa Teodori, Italy
- Chair Division II: Frederick Zarndt, United States
- Chair Division III: Viviana Quiñones, France
- Chair Division IV: Perry Moree, The Netherlands

The Chair of the Management of Library Associations Section will be elected in August at its standing committee meeting in Cape Town, South Africa.
Board members will take office on 21 August 2015.
