IFLA SIG on Indigenous Matters - Success!

IFLA has advised that the SIG has achieved the 40 registrations needed to progress to the final stage of establishing as a section. As of October 24, 2015, there were 41 registrations with 2 more in progress. This is a great achievement and special thanks goes out to all of you for your support by registering or encouraging others to register.

The next step is to provide IFLA with the Section's purpose, objectives and draft action plan. The content is informed by the current information available on the IFLA website, the SIG past projects and potential projects going forward. It's an exciting time and one that will benefit by your ongoing contribution.  Drafts of these texts are available on the SIG's Facebook page.  We look forward to your continued feedback and contributions to the work of the group!
