Out of Commerce Works – the Case for an Exception
As part of IFLA’s work, alongside partner organisations, in favour of copyright reform in Europe, we have produced an infographic. This serves as a briefing note on the need to an exception allowing libraries and cultural heritage organisations to make out of commerce works available to the public. Where collective management organisations exist, are representative of creators and well governed, then they should still be able to offer extended collective licences.
