Members have expressed a high interest in the 2023-2025 IFLA elections and the candidates that have been nominated. At its meeting in February 2023, the Governing Board agreed to ask candidates for the major roles of President-elect, Treasurer and Governing Board member at large to provide a brief video presentation in addition to their motivation statement.

To provide a standard approach, candidates for Treasurer were asked to briefly introduce themselves and speak to the following questions:

  • What experience and skills do you bring to the role of IFLA Treasurer?
  • As Treasurer, what do you see as the opportunities and challenges for IFLA to be financially sustainable?
  • As Treasurer, how do you see your role and responsibility within the Governing Board?
