    On 13 March, elections open for key posts across IFLA. Following a great response to our call for nominations, there is a strong set of candidates committed to the future of our Federation and ready to take IFLA’s work forwards.

      IFLA Call for Nominations 2023 now open

        Today, IFLA opens the nominations process for over 800 positions on its many committees. There are six weeks for candidates to come forward, and for Members and Affiliates to submit nominations for the varied positions available.

          In less than a month, the call for nominations for volunteer roles across IFLA's will open! We will be relying on passionate individuals with something to contribute to come forwards, and on our Members and Affiliates to nominate them. To get you thinking about what it means to be an IFLA volunteer, including the benefits it brings, we asked two of our Governing Board members, each overseeing structures of volunteer groups, to share their insights - Te Paea Paringatai (Chair, Professional Council) and Nthabiseng Kotsokoane (Chair, Regional Council).
