Conferences
The IFLA Academic and Research Libraries Section organises regular sessions during IFLA’s World Libraries & Information Congresses (WLIC), and sometimes interim meetings that may occur in between WLICs and / or just before of after them as “satellite conferences”. Stay tuned through our various information channels.
IFLA ARL Webinars
The IFLA Academic and Research Libraries Section has been hosting webinars on topics relevant to academic and research libraries and sharing perspectives from around the world since 2019. Webinar recordings and slides are available on YouTube and SlideShare.
Attendance grants
You will find on the dedicated page information on grants the Academic and Research Libraries Section provides with the help of sponsors, in order to help emerging professionals from developing countries discover the WLIC experience and more broadly what IFLA is about and share the message.
Information channels
The IFLA Academic and Research Libraries Section relies on a set of communication tools in order to make its work known and shared worldwide. A subscription-based distribution list, a blog, some publications, a newsletter, and of course a presence on social media: Facebook, Twitter and Youtube.
