Sister Libraries Programme Coordinator Ulla Pötsönen has been participating in two international and national conferences, presenting IFLA and Section's projects and disseminating the results and good practises.

BOBCATSSS is an international conference of LIS students nad new professionals. January 2015 it was held in Brno, Czech Republic. Theme of the conference was ”Design – Innovation – Participation”. IFLA was well presented, as President Ms. Sinikka Sipilä also attended and gave a speech on IFLA key values, initiatives and strategies. Ulla Pötsönen presented the Section and its projects to a full conference hall. The students were interested on knowing more about the practical work IFLA sections do, as well as the possibilities on participating on the work already while studying.
