Goal 1

Increase the level of discussion among Section’s Members in order to develop out network

Project/Activity:     

  • Provide Videoclips on work of AVMS members
  • Hold midterm meeting to focus on ongoing activities, including preparations for the Annual Congresses
  • Participation in Video Competition of Metropolitan Libraries (also refers to Goal 2-4)

 

Goal 2

Provide skills training / tutorials / Guidelines for all librarians on Audio‐visual materials

Project/Activity:

  • Revise Guidelines on AVMS
  • Recommendations RDA for AVMS
  • Satellite / Workshop on Preservation during WLIC Athens (also refers to Goal 3)

 

Goal 3

Raise awareness regarding access and preservation of Audio‐visual cultural heritage

Project/Activity:

  • Share member and country AVM projects on cultural heritage for AVMS
  • Conduct Open Session 2019 on Preservation of AV
  • Participate in IFLA Working group on Preservation Standards

 

Goal 4

Contribute to the development of advocacy regarding Audio‐visual materials

Project/Activity

  • Develop working and cooperative relationships
  • Recruitment of new members
  • Add additional information on AVMS
  • Support WIPO
