    With a grant from Spain’s Ministry of Culture, as well as the support of other generous sponsors, several IFLA Sections have come together and are pleased to organize the International Library Conference titled “Culture, Knowledge, and Community” in Barcelona, Spain, October 6-9, 2024.

    IFLA Art Libraries Section: Big Ideas, Challenging Questions satellite conference - Registration is now open

      The Rijksmuseum Research Library and the IFLA Art Libraries Section will organize a satellite conference from 17 - 19 August at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, The Netherlands around the theme Big Ideas, Challenging Questions. The goal is to discuss the future of art and visual information, and to talk about the challenges and opportunities of the art library in relation to digital scholarly and/or artistic practices.

The IFLA Art Libraries Section recognize and value the history and future of mankind which finds a voice through creative expression. It is an honor to foster connection between heritage objects and the people that we serve.
