The IFLA General Assembly 2023 – the primary opportunity for our Members to take decisions about our Federation – will be held on Wednesday 23 August 2023 (16:00 – 18:00 CEST) and Thursday 24 August 2023 (15:00 – 17:00 CEST) in hybrid format, in Rotterdam, The Netherlands and online. The formal Convening Notice, published today, sets out details about the topics for discussions, and opportunities for participation.

The Governing Board has set the date for the IFLA General Assembly 2022: It will take place on 25 August and will be organised in a hybrid format so that as many Members as possible can attend. The time of day has yet to be determined.
IFLA’s General Assembly took place on 25 August 2021, providing an opportunity to thank our outgoing President Christine Mackenzie and Governing Board, for IFLA Secretary General Gerald Leitner to present the successes of the past year, and for IFLA to welcome new President Barbara Lison.
IFLA’s General Assembly is only a week away. Following this meeting, IFLA's new Statutes and revised structure will be implemented. A new era for the Federation will begin.
